Kleinode
I began the “Kleinode” series in the fall of 2024. The miniaturization of the coat of arms reflects my love for fine details - both in my work and in life. The series includes a selection of everyday objects to which I, like many others, feel a deep connection, as they bring memories to life. They serve as lucky charms, linking us to joyful experiences. The coat of arms emphasizes their protective function.

My heraldic bestiary is a collection of portraits of fascinating creatures. A bestiary is a medieval manuscript or book that describes and illustrates real and mythical animals.
By painting marvellous creatures in the heraldic tradition, I emphasise their role as power animals and protectors. The shield has always served the fighter in defence, it is both a barrier and a weapon. Portrayed in a shield, each of my beasts reveals its true nature and protects those who feel connected to it.

My series of guild signs celebrates craftsmanship, profession, and passion – along with their indispensable tools. Behind every craft lies a deeply rooted love for detail. With the same dedication and precision, I create each individual coat of arms. Thus, my guild signs represent traditional skills, devotion, and artistry. This artistry often reveals itself in unexpected skills – whether in the precision of craftsmanship or in the finely tuned sensitivity required to interpret nature and forage for mushrooms.
